FSA Headsets 121-1400 Editorial Review
The FSA Duron X Threaded Headset has received a mix of accolades and criticisms from users, mixing strong performance with notable quality control issues. Many customers have praised the headset for its sleek appearance and smooth movement, highlighting its low weight and high-quality finish. Users appreciate the CNC-machined components and polished bearings, suggesting that it can hold its own against higher-priced competitors like Chris King and Interloc Racing. However, several users have expressed dissatisfaction regarding the condition of the headset upon delivery, noting instances of receiving used or damaged products instead of the expected new item. In some cases, essential parts such as lock nuts were missing, leading to inconvenience and additional costs for replacements. Furthermore, while the headset is deemed effective and aesthetically pleasing, it poses some challenges in compatibility for older bike models due to its stack height, which is significantly greater than that of other similar products. Overall, the FSA Duron X Threaded Headset is celebrated for its performance and design, with many users willing to overlook some of the shipping and condition mishaps for its functionality and quality. **
