The 2lb Clear Stephenson Melt and Pour Soap Base (Crystal ST) is a versatile soap base that can be easily melted and poured into a mold. The INCI list shows that it contains both palm and coconut fatty acids, and is not 100% organic due to some raw ingredients not being available in organic varieties. This base is not a kosher soap. Customers have had mixed experiences with this product. Some have found it to be a great melt and pour base that holds color and scent well, while others have had difficulty with it. Some customers have received a white soap base instead of a clear base, which was not what they wanted but still worked for their needs. Others have found the soap difficult to work with due to a strong scent that interfered with their fragrance oil. One customer received the product damaged. Overall, this soap base seems to have potential but may not be suitable for everyone.
