About This Item

These medium-sized strips are perfect for frames measuring up to 18 inches by 24 inches and can hold up to 9 lbs, giving you peace of mind knowing that your cherished memories will stay securely in place. Say goodbye to holes, marks, or sticky residue on your walls with these damage-free decorating solutions. The Command Picture Hanging Strips by 3M are easy to use and leave no trace when removed.
No tools are required - simply follow the instructions to hang picture frames, wall art, mirrors, wall clocks, signs, and even holiday decorations anywhere you want without nails or a hammer. These versatile strips are designed to hold strongly on a variety of indoor surfaces including painted walls, finished wood, painted concrete, laminate, glass, tile, metal, and other smooth surfaces. You can easily redecorate when inspiration strikes without worrying about damage to your walls. To ensure proper use, it is recommended to wait 7 days after painting before applying the strips. Make sure to clean the wall with rubbing alcohol before using the strips and avoid applying them to paper or soft surfaces on the frame.
Removing the hanging hardware from the back of the frame is also necessary for a secure and clean installation. To apply the strips, separate them and press two strips together until they click. Each pair of strips can hold up to 3 lbs. Remove one side of the liners and place each pair of strips as shown on the instructions.
Press firmly to ensure a strong bond. Then, remove the remaining liners and press the frame onto the wall, firmly pressing each side for 30 seconds. To ensure adhesive hold, grab the bottom corners and peel the frame from the wall, pressing each strip firmly for 30 seconds.
Wait 1 hour before reattaching the frame by lining it up with the strips on the wall and pressing until each pair of strips click. When it's time to remove the frames, simply grab the bottom corners and peel them from the wall, pulling straight down and stretching the strip slowly against the wall at least 12 inches to release it. Follow the safe handling instructions provided and avoid hanging over beds or on wallpaper. Additionally, it is recommended not to hang valuable or irreplaceable items and use the strips indoors within the temperature range of 50° - 105°F.
