The Golchin Saffron Liquid is a product that is easy to use for cooking, specifically for rice dishes. It can be used in place of dry saffron leaves that have been brewed in hot water, but the flavor and smell are not on par with the real thing. One cup of rice would require one to two spoons of liquid saffron. The product only has two ingredients, saffron, oil, and water. However, the liquid saffron might not be the best product for those who want to mix the flavor with alcohol as it is not pure saffron. A few customers have reported receiving a bad batch, with mold appearing on the top of the liquid. There have also been complaints of the product containing too much food coloring, causing a plasticky flavor that makes cooking with it unpleasant. The product is reasonably priced and convenient for cooking rice dishes but is not the same as the real thing.
