The Berserk Volume 2 Series #2 Paperback is an exciting continuation of the bloody and revenge-driven saga of Guts, the protagonist, seeking retribution against the demons trying to kill him. The storyline in this volume is well-crafted, though it lacks progress compared to the first volume. The illustration is easy to follow and very detailed, making for an excellent reading experience. Throughout the volume, Guts's character is developed further, portraying him as a less sympathetic hero than traditional stories tend to have. Although the story doesn't make much progress, the plot continues to expand and develop, making it an exciting read.
