The product is easy to apply and provides a clear, hard finish that protects against UV rays. The manufacturer recommends using Poli Ox or another mildly abrasive cleaner to clean areas where Poli Glow has rubbed off before applying 3-4 coats of Poli Glow. For maintenance, the entire boat should be coated with 2 more coats of Poli Glow. However, the product is not recommended for use on fiberglass tubs, as it can make the surface very slippery. Poli Strip can be used to remove Poli Glow, although it will not dissipate with a rain shower if 5-6 coats were applied to a clean surface.
