- TRUE TONE & AUTO-BRIGHTNESS NOTE: The ambient light sensor is serialized, so replacing this flex disables True Tone and Auto-Brightness (brightness becomes manual) unless the original sensor IC is transplanted by a microsoldering repair shop. Face ID is unaffected.
