- Qui n'a pas un jour fredonné, voire chanté à tue-tête « La Blanche Hermine » ? Cette chanson a inspiré plusieurs générations pour demeurer l'étendard vocal de luttes en tous genres. Elle a également propulsé Gilles Servat sur les scènes des années 1970, puis l'a accompagné des décennies durant, pour en faire un monument de la chanson bretonne engagée, sculpté dans le granit et façonné par les vents marins.. C'est ce riche parcours qui est ici retracé, depuis la groisillonne Auberge du Pêcheur jusqu'aux plus grandes arènes à Lorient ou à Paris. Plus de cinquante ans de la vie d'un chanteur se sont abreuvés à de multiples sources : l'Irlande, quasiment une seconde patrie pour Gilles Servat, les poètes, qu'ils soient bretons ou universels, l'engagement, une constante dans son itinéraire et enfin la langue bretonne pour laquelle il s'est dépensé sans compter. Un artiste qui a marqué de son empreinte la vie culturelle et politique de Bretagne..
