The device is great for reading and writing, with the latest software allowing for handwritten notes to be converted to simple text files. Its voice to text feature can also read books aloud in English only. Though the device lacks screen-sharing capabilities, and OCR and handwriting-to-text conversion are not available yet, once they are, it will be a great addition. The device's battery life is impressive, and there have been firmware updates to improve its functionality and usability. The device is great value for money compared to its competitors but is not waterproof and has a grainy coating on the screen. Despite its limitations, the Kindle Scribe is a quality tech product.
