Koss Computer Headsets sb45 Editorial Review
The Koss SB-45 wired communication headset has garnered a mix of reviews from users, reflecting a blend of satisfaction and some notable drawbacks. Most reviewers appreciate the sound quality and comfort level, particularly for extended use. The headsets are described as lightweight and foldable, making them a convenient choice for everyday use across various activities such as gaming, working from home, and attending online classes. Many have shared experiences of ownership across multiple years, highlighting their durability despite occasional wear and tear, especially on the ear cuffs. The sound quality, although not audiophile level, is praised for being significantly better than many competitors at a similar price point. Users noted decent bass performance and effective ambient noise blocking, contributing to an immersive auditory experience. The adjustable boom mic further enhances usability for communication, making it a suitable option for gamers and remote workers alike. However, some customers expressed concerns regarding the fit for different ear shapes, with larger ear users finding the cups too small for comfort. Additionally, there were criticisms about sound being flat without adjustments and the absence of in-line volume control, which some users found inconvenient. Moreover, while many reported strong performance and durability, a few others experienced failures after extended use, primarily with the microphone. Overall, the Koss SB-45 headset is viewed as a reliable and value-for-money choice, particularly for budget-Conscious users seeking sturdy headphones with satisfactory sound quality for everyday activities. **
