Adobe Illustrator Editorial Review
**Editorial Review of "Exploring Adobe Illustrator CS6"** "Exploring Adobe Illustrator CS6" has emerged as a well-received instructional resource for students and beginners aiming to delve into the complexities of Adobe Illustrator. Reviewers commend the book's balanced approach, which combines step-by-step guidance with comprehensive explanations that facilitate deeper understanding and practical experimentation. This dual methodology seems particularly effective in helping users grasp the intricacies of Illustrator, a software known for its multifaceted tools and functionalities. Students have found the material engaging, preferring it over other texts that emphasize rote learning. In fact, one reviewer highlighted that they experienced more success in class compared to peers who relied on other materials. The book is appreciated for its structured lessons that promote hands-on learning, and many have remarked that they treat it as a practical guide rather than just a reference text. Despite the praise, some users have pointed out certain shortcomings, particularly some missing instructional steps in early chapters. This has caused frustrations, leading a few to supplement their learning with external resources like online videos. While the book offers valuable insights into concepts like color modes—highlighting their importance for various outputs—some reviews indicate that it falls short in covering the multiple methods to achieve certain tasks in Illustrator, which could enhance the learner's experience. Overall, "Exploring Adobe Illustrator CS6" serves as a strong entry point for beginners and finds favor among educators, reflecting its potential to be adopted for broader classroom use. Users appreciate its design and content while acknowledging the need for clearer instructions in some areas. **
