Brileine Network & Cable Testers Editorial Review
The product in question appears to be a cable tester that has garnered a generally positive reception from users. Many customers appreciate its reliability and functionality, highlighting its effectiveness in testing various types of cables, particularly RJ-45 connections. Users have noted it as an essential tool for pinpointing defects in cables, especially when crimping ends themselves. The bright orange color of the tester also helps in keeping it visible and within reach. Some users have shared their experiences with the device's power activation, describing it as a bit tricky at times, requiring a longer press to turn it on. However, once operational, the device reliably performs its testing duties. Despite some reservations about the design—like a stiff battery cover—most reviews suggest that the tool functions as advertised, providing valuable peace of mind when verifying cable assembly and connectivity. A few customers expressed that while the Power over Ethernet (POE) detection is not as intuitively clear, the tester seemed to effectively identify whether the cable works with or without POE. Nevertheless, it’s recommended for users to test configurations before installation. Overall, users have been satisfied with the purchase, finding it a worthwhile investment for cable diagnostics. **
