Homend EMF Meters Editorial Review
The Homend LCD Gaussmeter Tesla Meter is a basic tool used for measuring strong magnetic fields and determining the strength and direction of magnetic fields, with a measuring range of up to 2 teslas. The meter has a self-test that passes and shows relative field strength. It has been reported to be easy to use, Consistent, and accurate enough for small jobs. It measures magnetic field strength between 0 to 2000 milli-Tesla and shows the direction of the magnetic field. The product has a 200mT and a 2000mT scale/range. It doesn't read in units of Gauss. It reads negative if the field is reversed, and it is a 2000 count display so it resolves to the tenth of a mT on the 200mT range and to the whole mT on the 2000mT range. The direction of the probe, i.e. small black dot facing up or down when touching the magnet being measured, does not matter. It has both an AC adapter and can use 4 AA batteries.
